Park Models

What is a park model?

Park models are compact, efficiently designed homes built on a wheeled chassis and intended for long-term placement on private or recreational property in Alberta, British Columbia, and Yukon. Unlike traditional RVs, park models are constructed with residential-grade materials and layouts that feel like a small home rather than a trailer.

Pocket House offers park models with a selection of carefully designed floor plans, giving you a streamlined, cost-effective way to choose a layout that fits your lifestyle, with the option to modify and personalize your home. These park models provide a practical solution for seasonal living, guest accommodations, or adding functional space to your property.

Park Model FAQs

Can I customize my park model, or do I choose from set floor plans?

Pocket House park models are available through a curated collection of thoughtfully designed floor plans—but they don’t stop there. While each model begins with a proven layout, homeowners can modify, adjust, and customize their park model to better suit their lifestyle and preferences.

Yes. Pocket House manages the entire process from start to finish, including building, transporting, delivering, and installing your park model. Our team ensures your unit is properly placed, leveled, and professionally set up on your site.

Pocket House park models are designed within the maximum 538 sq. ft. size allowance. Each available layout maximizes usable space with smart design and efficient floor planning.

Are Pocket House park models suitable for year-round use?

Yes—our park models are built with high-quality insulation, durable materials, and four-season construction options suitable for Canadian weather. While many customers use them seasonally, they can be equipped for year-round comfort depending on your needs.

Typically, you’ll need a level pad such as gravel or a concrete slab and access to utilities like power, water, and sewer. Pocket House will walk you through the requirements for your specific layout to ensure a smooth delivery and installation process.

Build timelines can vary, but choosing from premade Pocket House floor plans helps streamline the process, while customization options are also available. Once your order is placed, our team constructs your park model—modifications may extend timelines up to 12 months—then coordinates delivery and installation from start to finish.
